Whether for installation, maintenance or even repair: anyone who works at heights over long periods of time needs stability and a particularly secure footing. This is exactly what the new FlexxLift micro-lifting platform from the Günzburger Steigtechnik range offers for applications in industry and the building trades, as well as in the service and public sectors. The FlexxLift is available in two versions, operates without electricity and is therefore mobile for use in any location. Users can use this innovation to easily reach working heights of up to 4.2 metres while remaining inside a completely safe platform area at all times. Thanks to its contribution to added safety at work, the FlexxLift has already been admitted to the Professional Association for the Construction Industry (BG BAU) Occupational Safety Premium Programme.

"Installation, maintenance and repair work in particular can sometimes take quite a long time. Users should place their trust in vertical mast lifts, like the new FlexxLift, to be able to rely on a safe workplace. Users are always inside a completely secured working area and have plenty of space for tools and other materials. And our innovation also offers real added value in terms of ease of use," says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik GmbH.

No longer chained to the nearest power socket

The micro-lifting platform from the quality Bavarian manufacturer does not require batteries or electricity – it is operated quickly and easily by a hand crank. The ingenious design behind the infinitely variable lifting mechanism with gas pressure spring: the FlexxLift converts ten percent of human energy into 100 percent of power needed to reach full height. "It couldn't be simpler! In next to no time, users can move the new FlexxLift continuously up and back down again. And all this without any physical exertion, stand-alone and independent in terms of location and power supply," continues Ferdinand Munk.

Use of use is further enhanced by the slim and lightweight construction of the FlexxLift. "This innovative product really comes into its own when there is a shortage of skilled workers and during the coronavirus crisis, when whole shifts have to be split up and far fewer employees are on site at the same time. Our FlexxLift can be moved effortlessly from one location to another by individuals and operated intuitively," emphasises the company boss.

FlexxLift: a boost for safety at work

Users are always on the safe side and working in total compliance with the TRBS with the Günzburg vertical mast lift. The more stringent Technical Regulations for Operational Safety (TRBS, applicable since the beginning of 2019) recommend the use of working platforms or scaffolding for relatively long periods of work at a height of two metres or more. The FlexxLift features a completely secured working area, a double swing door and an automatic brake system for added safety. Consequently, it has already been admitted to the Professional Association for the Construction Industry (BG BAU) Occupational Safety Premium Programme. Users can therefore receive subsidies when purchasing the micro-lifting platform. BG BAU will cover up to 50 percent of the acquisition costs – and that is even independent of contributions.

The Günzburger Steigtechnik FlexxLift is available in two versions, both of which are characterised by their robust design and are virtually maintenance-free. They also stand out on account of their low operating costs and, thanks to the recesses provided, can be transported quickly and easily with a forklift. The difference between the models lies, among other things, in the platform height,: The FlexxLift 1.5 enables users to reach working heights of up to 3.5 metres, while heights of up to 4.2 metres are possible with the FlexxLift 2.2. This model also offers a slightly larger working area and additional lockable castors.
